NEW LEADERSHIP TAKES THE HELM: Comr. Chijioke Udemezue Okoh (Ejuenyim) Inaugurated as President of Nike Youths General Assembly, Promises Inclusive and Transparent Leadership

In a ceremony held on January 20, 2025, Comr. Chijioke Udemezue Okoh (Ejuenyim) was inaugurated as the new President of the Nike Youths General Assembly.

In his acceptance speech, Okoh expressed his gratitude to the members of the assembly for trusting him and his team to lead the organization. He acknowledged the progressive and peaceful tenure of the immediate past executives led by Comr. Ifedioramma James.

“We are deeply thankful for the trust you have placed on us to steer this ship for the betterment of Nike Youths and communities,” Okoh said. “We sincerely appreciate the immediate past Executives ably led by Comr. Ifedioramma James, whose tenure we can only categorize as progressive and peaceful.”

Okoh also recognized the initiators of the assembly, including Mazi Uchenna Nnamchi and Amb. Graham Emeka Agbowo, for their contributions to the organization’s growth.

The new leadership’s goal is to build on the outstanding work of their predecessors and drive the organization forward with purpose and vision. Okoh emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and accountability within the organization.

“We will work together to address the challenges we face, to seize new opportunities, and to achieve great things for the Nike community,” Okoh said. “We are proud to lead this organization, and we are committed to serving with integrity, humility, and an unwavering dedication to our shared values and to build Nike of our dreams.

The Nike Youths General Assembly is a local organization focused on community development and youth empowerment in Nike, Enugu State, Nigeria.
