The decomposing body of Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, has been found. Azuka, who represented the Onitsha I North constituency, was kidnapped by gunmen on December 24, 2024.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident in a text message, stating that “our operatives are currently at the scene. As soon as I get more details, I will keep you updated.”
Azuka was reportedly abducted while returning home on Ugwunaobankpa Road in Inland Town, Onitsha. His kidnapping and subsequent murder have sent shockwaves through the community, and an investigation is likely to follow.
The Anambra State Police Command has promised to provide more details on the incident as soon as possible. The discovery of Azuka’s body has raised concerns about the safety and security of lawmakers and citizens in the state.
