Over 30 SEC members benefited from targeted training sessions and financial grants, equipping them with the knowledge and resources to thrive in today’s competitive business landscape.
According to Nwachukwu Emmanuel, representing the convener, Engr. Paschal Okeke, the conference had a profound impact on the participants. “We are thrilled with the outcome of the conference, which has empowered young entrepreneurs with the skills and resources needed to succeed,” Emmanuel said.
The Enugu SME Center’s efforts align with Governor Peter Mbah’s vision to train over 40,000 young people annually in digital, technical, and entrepreneurial skills, positioning Enugu as a hub for innovation and economic growth.
“This initiative is crucial in bridging the skills gap and fostering job creation, particularly in Nigeria where the youth unemployment rate stands at over 30%,” said an official of the Enugu SME Center.
Through strategic partnerships and forward-thinking interventions, the Enugu SME Center continues to champion youth empowerment, drive job creation, and foster an ecosystem where young entrepreneurs can thrive.
