However, Chibuogu’s father, Francis Van-Lare, disputed this claim, stating that the actual amount was $1,900 per month.
In a statement posted on her Instagram account, Chibuogu corroborated her father’s claims, describing the incident that led to Erinne’s death as a “near-death experience” where she and her children were held at gunpoint.
“I had to beg to live for three hours,” she wrote, revealing that she had been the primary caregiver and financial provider for her children, including her disabled child, while Erinne lived in another state.
Chibuogu urged people to move forward with love, reminding them that she and her children are real people trying to rebuild their lives after years of hardship. She also addressed the online harassment she has faced, stating that she has received dozens of threatening messages and calls.
“I have videos. I have pictures. I have police documentation of multiple incidents. I don’t want to take it there. This has to stop,” she wrote.
Chibuogu’s statement has sparked a new wave of debate and discussion on social media, with many users expressing sympathy and support for her and her children.
The incident has also raised questions about the child support system and the potential consequences of excessive financial burdens on individuals.
As the investigation into Erinne’s death continues, Chibuogu’s statement has provided a new perspective on the tragic events that unfolded.
