HON. UCHENNA JOSEPH OKOLO’S FREE JAMB REGISTRATION INITIATIVE WRAPS UP WITH MASSIVE SUCCESS, EMPOWERS 1,500 AWGU STUDENTS

Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, has successfully concluded the free JAMB registration program for 1,500 indigenous students across the 20 communities in Awgu. This initiative has enabled thousands of Awgu youths to gain access to tertiary education opportunities, cementing Hon. Okolo’s commitment to education and youth empowerment.

The program was wrapped up with a massive turnout and resounding success, ensuring that no child in Awgu was left behind in pursuing academic excellence. Students from all corners of Awgu trooped out in their numbers to benefit from this golden opportunity, with Hon. Okolo extending his benevolence by accommodating even more students in the final phase.

Mrs. Adinde, the Head of Education in Awgu, lauded Hon. Okolo for his visionary leadership and love for education. She noted that many students who previously had no financial means to register for JAMB now have a clear pathway to further their education, describing this as the dawn of a new era for Awgu under the chairman’s leadership.
