In a resounding display of unity and collaboration, the Awgu Local Government Area Super Stakeholders Meeting was held at the Enugu residence of Hon. Uche Okolo, the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area. He emphasized the critical need for unity and cooperation among Awgu stakeholders and communities, noting that collaboration is essential for achieving sustainable development.
“Together, we can harness our collective strengths to foster good governance and create a brighter future for our people,” Hon. Okolo declared, as he highlighted ongoing initiatives in education, health, agriculture, and infrastructure. He shared updates on developmental projects, including the completion of over 14 solar boreholes under the “Water for All” initiative and the ongoing construction of access roads to smart green schools and farm estates.
Hon. Okolo’s passionate address resonated deeply with attendees, as he reflected on his journey as the Executive Chairman. He acknowledged the challenges faced by the communities, particularly land disputes, and reiterated his dedication to fostering peace and cooperation among stakeholders. “Let us come together as one family to resolve our differences and build a harmonious Awgu,” he urged, evoking a sense of shared responsibility and hope.
