On the second anniversary of his administration, the Enugu Women in Politics congratulates His Excellency, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his giant strides

On behalf of Enugu Women in Politics, we extend our warmest congratulations to you on your remarkable achievements as Governor of Enugu State within just two years in office. Your bold vision, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to the transformation of our dear state have positioned Enugu as a rising star among Nigerian states.
We are proud to acknowledge your excellency’s landmark strides in education, most notably the rollout of Smart Schools across the state. These state-of-the-art institutions, equipped with digital learning tools, solar power, and modern infrastructure, are transforming the future of our children by providing them with a competitive, 21st-century education.
Your administration’s massive infrastructure development drive is equally commendable. The construction and rehabilitation of over 71 urban and rural roads to international standards have improved accessibility, reduced travel time, and enhanced economic activities. This includes strategic roads that now link key agricultural and industrial zones, promoting trade and mobility.
We also celebrate the resuscitation and expansion of the Enugu Urban Water Scheme, which has, for the first time in decades, restored regular water supply to homes in the Enugu metropolis. This singular achievement has significantly improved public health, sanitation, and overall quality of life for residents.
Another monumental initiative worthy of mention is your excellency’s focus on economic transformation through business-enabling reforms. Your commitment to improving the Ease of Doing Business is already yielding results by attracting credible investors, stimulating entrepreneurship, and creating jobs for our youths and women.
We are particularly inspired by your focus on tourism development, a sector with immense potential for cultural preservation, job creation, and revenue generation. Your administration’s effort to revive and reposition iconic sites such as the Ngwo Pine Forest, Nsude Ancient Pyramids, Ezeagu Waterfall and others, alongside ongoing improvements in hospitality infrastructure and branding of Enugu as a cultural and entertainment hub, is rekindling local pride and drawing visitors to the state.
Your Excellency, as women, mothers, and key stakeholders in the democratic process, we especially commend your inclusive leadership style and gender-sensitive policies. You have continued to give women a voice in governance through appointments, support for women-led enterprises, and initiatives that promote female education and empowerment.
In you, Enugu State has found a transformative leader whose word is his bond. You have shown that governance can be visionary, inclusive, and results-driven.
We, the members of Enugu Women in Politics, are proud of your accomplishments and remain steadfast in our support. We pray that God continues to grant you wisdom, strength, and good health as you lead our state to greater heights.
