Uche Okolo, has commended Governor Peter Mbah’s transformative leadership, stating that he is turning Enugu State into the state of their dreams. Hon. Okolo lauded Governor Mbah’s outstanding performance over the past two years, highlighting significant advancements in various sectors, including education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, economic growth, social welfare, security, and tourism development.
Under Governor Mbah’s leadership, Awgu LGA has benefited from initiatives such as the “Awgu Water for All” program, which has seen the installation of over 14 solar boreholes, providing accessible clean water to communities. Additionally, the development of Awgu Farm Estates, construction of access roads to smart green schools, and other projects have improved the lives of residents, showcasing the impact of his administration’s efforts.
Hon. Okolo emphasized the enabling environment created by Governor Mbah, allowing local governments to effectively execute their responsibilities. He called on the people to reflect on the significance of their democratic rights and the ongoing journey toward strengthening democracy.
