Startup founders and tech innovators in Enugu State are being called to step into the national spotlight as the GITEX Nigeria Regional Roadshow arrives in the state this July. The event, part of Nigeria’s largest innovation and tech showcase, will identify and elevate 15 of Enugu’s most promising startups, giving them a platform to compete at the prestigious GITEX Nigeria 2025 Supernova Challenge in Lagos this September.

Startups selected at the regional level will earn a coveted spot to represent Enugu State at the national Supernova finals, taking place in Lagos from September 3–4, 2025.
Why Enugu Startups Should Apply
The GITEX Supernova Challenge offers a range of high-value opportunities for participating startups, including:

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Enugu regional pitch, startups must meet the following criteria:
Be based in or operating from Enugu State
Have a working MVP (Minimum Viable Product) or a functional solution
Be ready to pitch live in Enugu and travel to Lagos if selected

The GITEX Nigeria initiative is an annual showcase hosted by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) through the Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI), designed to spotlight high-potential tech solutions and catalyze startup investment across the country.
With the roadshow’s arrival in Enugu, organizers say the event aims to highlight the ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit driving the state’s rapidly evolving tech landscape.
