This year’s programme is themed “Pathway to Purpose – Empowering Youths for a Better Tomorrow” and will focus on critical issues affecting young people, including:
Combating drug abuse, cultism, and other vices
Addressing the dangers of idleness and unemployment

Equipping youths with strategic tools for reform and social impact
Inspiring purpose-driven leadership in the community
The three-day seminar is scheduled as follows:
Day 1: Monday, 25th August 2025
Day 2: Wednesday, 27th August 2025
Day 3: Friday, 29th August 2025
All sessions will begin at 10:00 AM daily.
Beyond sensitization, the empowerment programme also provides practical support for participants. Beneficiaries will be assisted with WAEC registration, placement for apprenticeship opportunities, enrolment into computer and tech programmes, and provision of equipment and tools for those who benefited from previous editions to further their chosen careers.
Speaking on the importance of the initiative, the organizers explained that the programme is not only about discouraging vices but also about creating pathways for meaningful engagement. “We want to secure the future of our young people by equipping them with skills, education, and the right values to thrive,” the statement noted.
The association further called on well-wishers, groups, organizations, philanthropists, and government agencies to support the cause. “Together, we can give our young people a future anchored on purpose, vision, and positive change,” the organizers appealed.
