Your life’s journey is a living testimony that “A na-amaghị onye ga-abụ eze echi”: one never knows who will be king tomorrow. Through diligence, and sacrifice, you have risen to a place of honour where your works speak louder than words.

As a physician of international repute, you have used your God-given skills to bring healing and hope to humanity. In Anambra State, your medical missions have touched countless lives, offering free treatment, surgeries, and healthcare to the less privileged. It was for this reason that the Government of Anambra State, in recognition of your unparalleled service, honoured you with the prestigious State Merit Awards in both 2007 and 2009. Truly, “E jiri ọrụ mara dike”: a man is known and celebrated by his works.

Beyond healthcare, your philanthropic generosity has left footprints of greatness in the sands of time. Through your scholarship program, more than 2,000 persons have been given access to education, a ladder that has lifted them from obscurity into a brighter tomorrow. As our fathers say, “Nku di na mba na eghere mba nri”: resources from the community should serve the community. You have embodied this truth by giving back abundantly to your people, lighting candles that will burn for generations to come.
As Ike Ndigbo and Regent of Abagana, you stand as a custodian of tradition, and a cultural pillar. In your role as Ohaneze Diaspora Leader, you have traversed virtually all nations of the world, promoting Igbo culture, values, and identity. You are proof that “A na-azụ nwa ka o were bụrụ mmadụ”: a child is raised so he may grow to become a true human being. Indeed, you have grown into a global ambassador of Igbo heritage, ensuring that the Igbo voice is heard, respected, and celebrated across continents.

Dr. Anakwenze, your life teaches us that leadership is service, that culture is identity, and that giving is living. You are not just a physician who heals the body, but a bridge-builder who heals communities, a philanthropist who empowers the poor, and a cultural icon who safeguards our identity. As the elders wisely say, “Ọ bụ aka nri kà eji eri nri”: it is with the right hand that we eat food; you have been that right hand of support and blessing to the Igbo nation.
On this joyous occasion of your birthday, on behalf of the Igbo World Assembly Youths, I join millions across the globe to wish you abundant blessings, long life, sound health, and greater wisdom. May your days be filled with peace and your reign as Ike Ndigbo and Regent of Abagana continue to inspire unity, progress, and prosperity.
Happy Birthday to you, Ife ndi Igbo, Omelu Igbo, Okala Mmadu! Okala Mmuo!!
