The ENSUBEB Chairman further reiterated that the present administration places education at the forefront of development, stressing that the Board is committed to delivering quality, equitable, and accessible learning opportunities for every child in the state.

The courtesy visit also featured an interactive session where both parties agreed to explore areas of synergy, including educational programming, public enlightenment, and documentation of ongoing innovations in the state’s education sector.
Assoc. Prof. Okibe also used the opportunity to advise media practitioners to always uphold professionalism by disseminating accurate and factual information in their news reporting and programmes. He urged them to use their platforms to promote cultural values and norms, while avoiding being used by politicians to pursue personal interests or mislead the public.
Describing the establishment of privately owned media houses as a welcome development and a platform for social interaction, the ENSUBEB Chairman appealed to operators to always be guided by the ethics and standards of journalism. He assured Aneke TV that the Board will partner with them to promote education and other government programmes aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
He further explained that the Board is open to constructive criticism based on facts and encouraged media practitioners, as watchdogs of society, to stand on truth and serve as worthy examples in their service to the public.
