Enugu Zonal Office Appoints New Chief Supervising Principal After Transparent Assessment

The Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB), Enugu, has appointed a new Chief Supervising Principal for its zonal office following a transparent and merit-based assessment exercise conducted on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

The exercise, which drew commendation from participants for its fairness, was designed to test candidates across five critical areas: use of email, use of WhatsApp, oral presentation, administrative competence, as well as sincerity and transparency.

Although invitations were extended to all Quality Assurance Supervisors across four zones, only three candidates took part in the evaluation. At the end of the exercise, the results were announced as follows:

1. Barr. Ikpenwa Cyprian Emeka – 41%

2. Nwatu Anthony – 27.5%

3. Okolo Nobert – 25.5%

The assessment was supervised by Prof. Aloy Uzoagulu, former Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), who praised the board for its transparency and urged that such standards be maintained in future selections.

In their appreciation speech, the candidates expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman and board members of PPSMB Enugu for conducting the process in a fair and transparent manner. They also declared their satisfaction with the outcome of the exercise.

The announcement was formally signed by Juliet Hamunachi Enyi, Public Relations Officer of PPSMB, on behalf of the Executive Chairman.
