The Member representing Awgu South Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Anthony Nwankwo (JP), has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Okolo,popularly known as One Day, One Project,as he marks his first anniversary in office.

Nwankwo commended the council boss for his visionary leadership and the numerous people-oriented projects executed across communities in the local government within a short period. He noted that Hon. Okolo has distinguished himself by turning his popular mantra, “One Day, One Project,” into a living reality, transforming Awgu into a hub of progressive development.
The lawmaker described the council chairman as a leader whose commitment to service has restored confidence in grassroots governance, adding that his achievements in just one year stand as a testament to his dedication, prudence, and passion for community growth.
“As you celebrate this milestone, I pray for greater wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for you to continue in your pursuit of good governance and sustainable development for our people,” Hon. Nwankwo said.
Hon. Nwankwo also called on the people of Awgu to continue supporting the council chairman to enable him consolidate on the gains recorded during his first year in office.
