Nworah took to his Facebook page to clarify the situation, stating: “Our leader, Willie Obiano, former Governor of Anambra State, is alive and has not passed away. Please do not pay attention to what is circulating on social media.”
Uche Nworah, a former Director of Public Relations at Anambra Broadcasting Service under Obiano’s administration, emphasized the need to verify information before sharing unconfirmed reports.
The false reports began circulating after Sahara Reporters published a story claiming that Obiano had died in a London hospital due to heart complications. The clarification comes as a reminder to the public to exercise caution in believing unverified social media posts.
