Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has released a deeply emotional, spiritual, and inspiring new month message to the entire Ndi Awgu.
In the goodwill message delivered through his Special Adviser on General Media and Publicity, Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, Hon. Okolo described December as “a sacred month of completion, divine favour, and supernatural upliftment.” He urged Ndi Awgu to embrace the season with gratitude, renewed hope, and unwavering trust in God’s divine plan.
Hon. Okolo expressed profound appreciation to the people of Awgu for their enduring support, unity, and peace-loving spirit. He noted that the development strides recorded so far in the council are direct reflections of the people’s cooperation, communal resilience, and collective desire for a greater Awgu.
He also offered glowing praise to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whom he hailed as “a visionary leader whose transformational footprints continue to reshape the destiny of Enugu State.” According to Okolo, Governor Mbah’s brilliance, courage, and people-focused governance remain the driving force behind the accelerated progress being witnessed across communities and local councils.
Reflecting on the significance of the month, the Chairman described December as a time for reflection, thanksgiving, renewed commitment, and preparation for greater exploits ahead. He assured Ndi Awgu that his administration will not relent in delivering impactful projects, strengthening grassroots participation, and further advancing the Governor’s reform-driven agenda.
In the spirit of the festive season, Hon. Okolo wished Ndi Awgu a Merry Christmas in advance and a prosperous New Year filled with peace, protection, and divine blessings. He encouraged residents to remain their brothers’ keepers and maintain peaceful coexistence, especially as many sons and daughters of Awgu return home for the holidays.
“Let us be vigilant, supportive, and united. This is the season of love and togetherness. As our people journey home, let us offer helping hands, open hearts, and watch each other’s backs. May this December bring joy to every home, progress to every family, and divine favour to our land,” he prayed.
Hon. Okolo concluded by reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the continued development of Awgu, assuring residents that the coming year will usher in even greater achievements under the inspiring leadership of Governor Peter Mbah.
