In collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy (FMCIDE), the state is localizing national digital priorities to deliver measurable outcomes. The initiative is being coordinated by the Enugu SME Center, also known as the Enugu MSME and Startup Agency, under the Enugu Tech Talent Capacity Development Programme.


In its pilot phase, the programme is training over 5,000 young people in globally relevant digital skills, including software development, data science, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technology fields. The goal is to create a strong and competitive talent pipeline capable of meeting both local and international market demands.
