The engagement brought together key stakeholders across content creation, fashion, and the broader creative ecosystem to examine how stronger collaboration between the Enugu State Government and creative practitioners can unlock scalable opportunities for young people. Particular attention was given to youths supported through the Enugu SME Center (Enugu MSME & Startup Agency), with discussions highlighting the importance of structured support systems, targeted skills development, access to production infrastructure, and expanded market opportunities as critical enablers for transforming creative talent into sustainable livelihoods.

Fashion emerged as a major focal point of the discussions, especially the potential of initiatives such as the Enugu Fashion and Garment Hub to drive large-scale job creation. Participants underscored the hub’s role in nurturing local designers, strengthening garment manufacturing capacity, and positioning Enugu as a competitive creative production centre within Nigeria and beyond.

The dialogue aligned with the vision of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, to unlock the creative economy as a key pillar of inclusive growth in the state. It reinforced a shared commitment among stakeholders to deepen collaboration, invest in capacity building, and forge partnerships that convert creativity into enterprise, generate jobs, and deliver long-term economic value for Enugu’s youth.
