According to the state government, the meeting is designed to provide stakeholders with clear, accessible, and up-to-date information on all aspects of land sector development in the state. It also aims to strengthen public understanding of government policies while safeguarding the rights and investments of landowners.

The initiative aligns with the administration’s commitment to a transparent, participatory, and modern land management framework that supports sustainable development and investor confidence.

The town hall meeting is open to a wide range of stakeholders, including individual landowners, families and community landholders, estate developers and residents, community layout coordinators, surveyors, land buyers, agents and realtors, property lawyers and practitioners, registered professional bodies, traditional rulers and town unions, business and commercial operators, religious organisations, financial institutions, academic and research institutions, media organisations, civil society and advocacy groups, development partners, and all concerned citizens.
