…Asserts that Enugu APC Has Already Begun the Journey of Giving Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and President Ahmed Bola Tinubu 99.9 Per Cent Votes Ahead of 2027
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State has set a new standard in political organization, according to Hon. Barr. Ugo-Ferdinand Ukwueze, Deputy Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Enugu State Chapter, and Executive Chairman of Igboeze South Local Government Area.

Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, Barr. Ukwueze described the recently concluded APC ward, local government, and state congresses across the state’s 260 political wards and 17 local government areas as the best ever conducted by any political party in the history of Enugu State.
He attributed the success of the congresses to the strong support party members have for Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, emphasizing that the peaceful and transparent exercise reflected unity and confidence in the Governor’s leadership.
Barr. Ukwueze said that the peaceful, transparent, and widely accepted congresses across Enugu State clearly show that the party is united and focused. From the wards to the local governments and the state, members freely expressed their will without intimidation or confusion.
He further highlighted that the party is now well-positioned for the upcoming primaries and the 2027 elections, aiming for 99.9 per cent votes for Governor Mbah’s re-election. According to him, APC members elected the best candidates in character to lead at the grassroots level, ensuring a solid foundation for future electoral success.
Barr. Ukwueze also commended the professionalism of the congress committees, led by Dr. Lucky Ógbè, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, and Hon. Loveth Idisi, for their fairness and commitment, which he said guaranteed the credibility, peace, and acceptance of the congress outcomes.
He praised the outgoing APC Caretaker Committee under Dr. Ben Nwoye for laying the groundwork that enabled a smooth congress, describing the committee’s leadership as focused, inclusive, and dedicated to stabilizing the party.
Finally, Barr. Ukwueze congratulated the newly elected state leadership under Dr. Martin Chukwunwike, describing the election as historic, peaceful, credible, and widely accepted. He emphasized that the outcome reflected unity, renewed strength, and a collective determination to reposition the APC for greater political victories in upcoming elections.
