The Member representing Aninri, Awgu and Oji-River Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu, FNSE, has successfully completed the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives screening exercise held today in Abuja ahead of the party primaries scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026.

The screening exercise, conducted by the party’s panel, forms part of APC’s preparations for the 2027 general elections and further reflects the party’s commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and the emergence of credible leadership.
Speaking after the exercise, Hon. Onwuegbu reaffirmed his readiness and determination to continue offering purposeful and people-oriented representation to the good people of Aninri/Awgu/Oji-River Federal Constituency.
He emphasized that his focus remains on effective legislation, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, human capital advancement, and inclusive governance aimed at improving the welfare of constituents across the federal constituency.
Hon. Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu also expressed profound appreciation to the Presidency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, party stakeholders, supporters, and constituents for their unwavering support, encouragement, and confidence in his leadership journey.
The APC House of Representatives primaries are expected to hold nationwide on Friday, May 15, 2026.
