The programme, delivered by Innoson Kiara Academy in partnership with the State Technical and Vocational Schools Management Board (STVSMB), is part of Governor ’s broader agenda to promote practical education and reduce poverty through job creation.

According to officials, the six-month training will focus on two key areas: automobile mechanics and auto body works. Participants will receive a total stipend of ₦135,000 to support them throughout the duration of the programme.

Beyond financial support, trainees are expected to gain industry-relevant skills and earn certification accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), positioning them for employment opportunities or entrepreneurial ventures within Nigeria’s growing automotive sector.

The initiative targets youths between the ages of 18 and 35 residing in Enugu State. Applicants are required to present valid identification, while basic literacy and a strong commitment to the programme are considered added advantages.

Authorities have set May 15, 2026, as the deadline for applications, urging interested candidates to apply promptly.

The state government says the programme underscores its commitment to building a skilled workforce capable of driving economic growth and reducing unemployment across the region.
