Thousands of members of the IjeAwele Movement converged on Okpara Square, Enugu, for the Ofuobi Mega Rally, a massive gathering organized to endorse the second-term bid of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of forthcoming elections.

The rally witnessed an impressive turnout of party faithful, supporters, community leaders, youths, women groups, and stakeholders from across Enugu State, all united in their commitment to the continued progress and development championed by the APC.
Supporters openly declared their support for Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, and other APC candidates, describing the rally as a strong statement of solidarity and confidence in the party’s leadership.
Shortly after the event, in separate interviews with REFMEDIAGIST, Hon. Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, Convener of the IjeAwele Movement and APC Chairmanship Candidate for Nkanu East Local Government Area, expressed profound appreciation to members and supporters for the overwhelming turnout. He stated that the rally was not only a demonstration of the strength of the IjeAwele Movement but also a resounding endorsement of the transformational leadership of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He urged supporters to remain steadfast in their support for the Governor, the President, and all APC candidates, emphasizing that continuity in leadership would guarantee accelerated development and prosperity for the people.
Also speaking with REFMEDIAGIST, Hon. Kingsley Ezinwa, Director General of the IjeAwele Movement, commended members for their dedication, loyalty, and commitment to the ideals of the movement. He noted that the massive turnout reflected the confidence of the people in Governor Peter Mbah’s developmental strides across Enugu State and in President Tinubu’s efforts to reposition Nigeria. He called on party faithful to intensify grassroots mobilization and support for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
In his interview, Hon. Dieke Chukwuemelie, Deputy Director General of the IjeAwele Movement, praised supporters for their discipline and peaceful conduct throughout the event. He described the rally as a vote of confidence in Governor Peter Mbah’s administration, President Tinubu’s leadership, and the APC’s vision for sustainable development. He urged members to remain united and committed to ensuring electoral victories for all APC candidates across the state and beyond.
