HON. OGBUEKWE CONGRATULATES IKEJE ASOGWA ON LANDSLIDE VICTORY IN ENUGU NORTH SENATORIAL BY-ELECTION

Mike Ogbuekwe, has congratulated Chief Ikeje Asogwa on his landslide victory in the Enugu North Senatorial Bye-Election, describing the outcome as a clear endorsement of the Senator-Elect’s leadership credentials and widespread acceptance across the senatorial district.

In a goodwill message issued shortly after the declaration of the election results, Ogbuekwe said Asogwa’s resounding victory reflects the confidence and trust the people of Enugu North Senatorial Zone have placed in his ability to provide purposeful representation and effective leadership.

According to Ogbuekwe, the overwhelming mandate received by the Senator-Elect demonstrates the electorate’s belief in his vision, commitment to public service, and capacity to champion the interests of the district at the National Assembly.

He expressed optimism that Chief Asogwa would utilize his wealth of experience and political goodwill to advance the development of Enugu North Senatorial Zone, attract people-oriented projects, and promote policies that will improve the welfare of the constituents.

“Your landslide victory reflects the overwhelming support and confidence the people of Enugu North have placed in your leadership. I am confident that you will honour this mandate through effective representation, impactful legislative service, and a steadfast commitment to the progress of the district,” Ogbuekwe stated.

The APC chairmanship candidate also prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for the Senator-Elect as he prepares to assume office, urging him to remain focused on the aspirations of the people and the overall development of the senatorial zone.

Chief Ikeje Asogwa emerged victorious in the Enugu North Senatorial Bye-Election to become the Senator-Elect for the district, securing a decisive mandate from the electorate and reinforcing his position as one of the leading political figures in the zone.
