
Senator Ikeje Asogwa of Enugu North Senatorial District has appointed six additional Special Advisers and 24 Executive Assistants to strengthen his administration’s capacity for effective service delivery and deepen grassroots representation across the senatorial district.

Samson Ezea, who said the decision was in line with Asogwa’s commitment to providing responsive, inclusive and people-centred representation. He noted that the latest appointments are in addition to the 11 aides the lawmaker appointed shortly after assuming office.
According to the statement, the newly appointed Special Advisers are Rt. Hon. Dr. Chinedu Nwamba (Political), Rt. Hon. Dr. Ogbonna Idike (Security and Logistics), Rt. Hon. Mrs. Ethel Ugwuanyi (Women Affairs), Hon. Barr. Vincent Diugwu (Legal Matters), Hon. John Nwakoby (Non-Indigenes), and Hon. Martin Oloto (Strategy and Tactics).
Ezea further stated that the 24 Executive Assistants were drawn from the 24 Development Centres across the six local government areas of Enugu North Senatorial District to ensure effective coordination of constituency affairs and strengthen the link between the Senator’s office and the grassroots.
The statement quoted Senator Asogwa as congratulating the new appointees and urging them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, integrity and a strong sense of public service.
He emphasised that the people of Enugu North Senatorial District deserve quality, effective and inclusive representation, expressing confidence that the newly appointed aides would contribute meaningfully to the achievement of his legislative and constituency development agenda.
The appointments, the statement added, are part of ongoing efforts by the Senator to build a robust support structure capable of driving development initiatives and addressing the needs of constituents across the senatorial district.
