NUC Approves Five New Academic Programmes for ESUT

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved five new academic programmes for the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, further strengthening the institution’s academic portfolio and reinforcing its commitment to producing graduates equipped for the demands of a rapidly evolving digital economy.

The newly approved programmes are Intelligence and Security Studies, Cyber Security, Data Science, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. The programmes are expected to position ESUT at the forefront of technology-driven education while providing students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills in high-demand fields.

The approval reflects the continued efforts of the National Universities Commission to promote quality and relevance in university education.
