The Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB) has scheduled a mandatory credential and physical verification exercise for all teaching and non-teaching staff of the Board serving in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The exercise is slated for Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Awgu Local Government Council Headquarters, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
According to the directive, all teaching and non-teaching personnel under ENSUBEB in Awgu Local Government Area are required to appear physically at the designated venue and participate fully in the verification exercise.
The exercise is aimed at ensuring proper documentation, authentication of credentials and physical confirmation of staff within the local government area.
The Board has emphasized that attendance is mandatory, warning that any staff member who fails to present himself or herself for the exercise without authorization will face the appropriate consequences.
In a statement signed by the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, staff members concerned were urged to take the directive seriously and ensure full compliance with the scheduled exercise.
The council chairman also called on stakeholders and members of the public to inform all affected ENSUBEB teaching and non-teaching staff within Awgu Local Government Area about the verification exercise to ensure that no concerned personnel is left uninformed.
