Senator Ngwu believes the constituency stands before a new window of opportunity as Nigeria and Enugu State pursue broader economic and infrastructural transformation. He argues that Enugu West must position itself strategically to benefit from emerging opportunities in agriculture, education, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, technology and human capital development.

At the national level, the Senator has continued to identify with the economic reform direction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. While recognising the difficulties associated with major economic adjustments, he maintains that Nigeria cannot achieve lasting prosperity without confronting the structural challenges that have limited investment, production and employment.
