The Executive Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, has charged members of staff of the council to embrace discipline, punctuality, teamwork, diligence and professionalism in the discharge of their official responsibilities.

Ogbuekwe gave the charge during a meeting with staff of the Nkanu East Local Government Area at the Council Secretariat, Amagunze, where he underscored the importance of a committed and productive workforce in driving effective service delivery at the grassroots.

The Council Chairman reminded the workers that, as public servants, they have a responsibility to serve Ndi Nkanu East with dedication and ensure that their duties are carried out efficiently and professionally.

He also called for greater cooperation and teamwork among the staff, urging them to support the administration in the pursuit of its development objectives.

According to him, every member of staff has an important role to play in the administration, stressing that collective commitment and a shared sense of responsibility would be essential to achieving meaningful results for the people.

Ogbuekwe further expressed his readiness to work closely with the council workforce, noting that his administration would remain focused on accountability, productivity and effective service delivery.

He said the administration would continue to promote a culture of responsibility and commitment as part of its broader determination to serve the people of Nkanu East effectively.
