As we approach the 2027 general elections, the people of Aninri, Awgu and Oji-River Federal Constituency must insist that every aspirant seeking a higher political office presents a verifiable account of his previous public service. Political ambition without demonstrable achievements is nothing more than an exercise in self-aggrandisement.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Hon. Chinedu Onyeagba (Omex Global)must answer a fundamental question: What tangible developmental legacy did he bequeath to Ndi Oji-River during his two years as Local Government Chairman?
I challenge him to present his scorecard in education, healthcare and agriculture. Which classroom block did his administration construct? Which hospital did it build or equip? What measurable interventions were undertaken to improve agricultural productivity, empower farmers and strengthen rural livelihoods? Where are the projects, documentary evidence and enduring developmental footprints that justify his ambition for the House of Representatives?
I have repeatedly questioned whether his administration constructed a single classroom block or built and equipped a hospital during its tenure. These questions deserve clear, evidence-based answers, not political propaganda or rhetorical gymnastics.
Public office is a solemn obligation not a personal trophy. Anyone who seeks elevation to the Green Chamber must be prepared to account for the responsibilities previously entrusted to him. The House of Representatives requires individuals capable of meaningful legislation, effective oversight and purposeful representation not merely politicians seeking successive positions without presenting verifiable records of performance.
Greater Awgu deserves leadership anchored in accountability, competence and measurable development. Before asking for a greater mandate, Omex Global should first demonstrate what his previous mandate accomplished.
MY CHALLENGE REMAINS OPEN: LET HIM PRESENT HIS SCORECARD. LET THE DOCUMENTS SPEAK. LET THE PEOPLE JUDGE.
