Enugu North Local Government Area, under the leadership of the Executive Chairman Dr. Ibenaku Harford Onoh, has sworn in Dr. Chukwuemeka Aroh for a second term as Secretary of the Local Government (SLG).

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the Enugu North LGA Secretariate, where the council’s Legal Adviser, Barr. Obinna Onuigbo, administered the oath of office.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Onoh charged the newly sworn-in SLG to continue to provide good leadership and remain committed to delivering quality service to the people of Enugu North inline with the Tomorrow is Here vision of His. Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
In his remarks, Dr. Aroh expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for the opportunity to serve the people of Enugu North for a second term.
He also appreciated the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for creating opportunities for young people to contribute meaningfully to governance and public service.
The SLG further expressed gratitude to Dr. Onoh for his exemplary leadership, mentorship, trust and guidance, which he said he deeply appreciated.
Dr. Aroh reaffirmed his commitment to discharging his responsibilities with integrity, dedication and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on society.
