The Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, has said the achievements of Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, have made the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign for the 2027 general elections easier, expressing confidence in the party’s electoral prospects.

Okolo stated this on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, during the official flag-off of the APC’s 2027 general election campaign at Nsukka Township Stadium, Enugu State, where he reaffirmed his support for the re-election of Governor Mbah and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The campaign flag-off, led by Mbah, who is also the chairman of the Enugu State APC Campaign Council, attracted party leaders, stakeholders and supporters from across the state.

Speaking after the event in a statement shared on his social media platforms, Okolo said the governor’s performance in office had provided the party with a strong basis to seek renewed public support.

He cited achievements in road infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic development and other critical sectors as evidence of the administration’s commitment to transforming the state.

The council chairman said the progress recorded under Mbah’s leadership deserved continuity and consolidation to sustain development and deliver more benefits to the people.

He called on residents of Awgu Local Government Area and Enugu State to support Mbah, Tinubu and other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections, stressing the need for unity and political stability to sustain the state’s development trajectory.

Okolo reiterated that continuity, consolidation and greater development should remain the collective aspiration of the people as the state prepares for the 2027 electoral cycle.

He concluded with the slogan, “APC From Top to Bottom! Tomorrow Is Here!”
