The Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Council, Hon. Uchenna Joseph Okolo, cordially invites livestock farmers and business owners from Awgu Local Government Area to a sensitization meeting on the Enugu State Livestock Production and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), assisted by the World Bank.

The L-PRES project, aligned with Governor Peter Mbah’s vision, aims to transform agriculture into a sustainable business in Enugu State. Its objectives include improving livestock productivity, resilience, and commercialization, focusing on poultry, sheep, goat, piggery, and cow value chains.
The project’s benefits include improved productivity, enhanced value chain performance, and strengthened crisis prevention. Approximately 39,000 livestock farmers nationwide will benefit.
