
The Enugu State Government has officially released the operational routes and fare structure for its newly launched State Rapid Bus Service, designed to provide residents with safe, affordable, and convenient transportation.

The government noted that the scheme will gradually extend to cover other major routes across the state.
Cashless Payments with Ije Card
To facilitate seamless transactions, the government has introduced the Ije Card as the official medium of payment.
Cards are available free of charge for the first week at all bus terminals, after which commuters are required to load them immediately upon collection.
Top-up services will be provided by designated ticketing agents across the terminals.
Comfort and Technology at the Core
According to the State Government, passenger comfort remains a top priority. All buses are fully air-conditioned and equipped with free WiFi, ensuring relaxation and productivity throughout the journey.
