In a goodwill message jointly signed by its Founder and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Engr. Mike Ogbuekwe, the Director General, Hon. Kingsley Ezinwa, and the Media Director, Hon. Comr. Obinna Okpara, the Movement congratulated citizens for their resilience and commitment to the ideals of unity, peace, and progress.
The statement reaffirmed the Movement’s commitment to good governance, accountability, and people-centered leadership, describing them as the true pillars of a prosperous Enugu State and Nigeria.
The Ije Awele Movement further commended the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his transformational leadership and ongoing efforts in driving infrastructural renewal, economic growth, and social development across the state.
“As we celebrate Nigeria at 65, we call on Ndi Enugu to keep faith with the values of justice, equity, and fairness which underpin true democracy and sustainable development. This new month comes with renewed opportunities, and with Governor Mbah’s visionary leadership, we are confident that Enugu will continue to rise as a beacon of hope and prosperity,” the statement read in part.
The Movement wished Ndi Enugu and all Nigerians a blessed new month, filled with divine favour, peace, and progress.
