“Do not put me in trouble; who am I to fight Trump?” the Senate President said, reacting to the fabricated statement attributed to him. He urged the public to be discerning in their media consumption, noting that, “Communication is very clear: if you are not well informed, you are deformed.”
Addressing his colleagues and the public, Akpabio cautioned against the careless sharing of sensational or unverified “breaking news” that could undermine national stability. “Breaking news should not break the society,” he warned.
