
In a strategic effort to strengthen business compliance and ease the transition into Nigeria’s updated tax regime, the Enugu SME Center (Enugu MSME & Startup Agency) has announced a virtual workshop aimed at enlightening small and medium-scale enterprises on the implications of the new tax law.

According to the organizers, the workshop will provide expert guidance on budgeting, documentation, and internal control systems that support tax compliance. Participants will also learn how to avoid penalties, maintain proper financial records, and ensure their businesses remain legally protected under the new regulatory framework.
The lead facilitator for the event is Ngozi Nwabueze, CEO of Pocket Lawyers, with additional insights from the Head of Finance at Ploutos Page Limited, who will share real-world perspectives on financial discipline and compliance.
