In a statement circulated on Monday across his social media platforms, Chief Onuokaibe declared that his company, First Choice Afro Villa Ltd, is firmly in support of Governor Mbah’s administration, describing it as one driven by audacious vision and purposeful leadership that has turned seemingly impossible projects into visible realities for the people of Enugu State.
According to him, the construction of 260 Smart Green Schools across the state, of which Mburubu community is a major beneficiary, alongside 260 Type Two Primary Healthcare Centres, also benefiting Mburubu, clearly demonstrates the governor’s commitment to grassroots development. He further highlighted the ongoing Nara–Mburubu–Nomeh Road project, which he noted is over 60 per cent completed, as further proof of the administration’s performance.
As a son of Mburubu and a progressive citizen of Enugu State, Chief Onuokaibe stated that these landmark projects have strengthened his confidence in the governor’s leadership, prompting his open endorsement of the administration.
Addressing concerns and speculations surrounding water supply in the state, he explained that the government has recorded significant improvements in the sector. He disclosed that his residence in Enugu, which previously suffered from irregular water supply, now enjoys constant water, attributing the improvement to the state government’s interventions.
Chief Onuokaibe also commended the Enugu Air initiative, describing it as a landmark 21st-century achievement. He revealed that he personally flies with Enugu Air twice every week, underscoring his confidence in the initiative and its impact on mobility and economic growth.
The real estate developer further stated that his company, First Choice Afro Villa Ltd, which owns Papilo Villa Estate in Iva Valley, First Choice Estate in Agbogazi Nike, among other properties, is flourishing due to the safe, stable, and investor-friendly environment created by the Mbah administration across the state. He added that the company is proud to be associated with the governor and expressed confidence that the administration will drive Enugu State’s development agenda for eight years before handing over to a successor who will sustain and expand the vision.
Chief Onuokaibe said that he and his wife, Lilian Onyinye Onuokaibe, pledge their support for the good governance of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in recognition of the 260 Smart Green Schools in Enugu State, with Mburubu Ward as a beneficiary; the 260 Type Two Primary Healthcare Centres across the wards, also benefiting Mburubu Ward; the Nara–Mburubu–Nomeh Road construction project, now about 50 per cent completed; and the Mburubu–Nkerefi Road project, also at 50 per cent completion. He added that he is a direct beneficiary of the Enugu State water scheme at his Liberty Estate Phase 1 residence and that he flies Enugu Air twice weekly.
According to him, Enugu State has never experienced this level of development, stressing that the projects are real, visible, and open for all to see. He noted that his real estate projects are thriving due to the improved security and peaceful environment across the state, expressing pride in the governor’s achievements and optimism that after eight years, Enugu State will witness sustained progress marked by growing communities, increased investor confidence, job creation, improved infrastructure, and development reaching every corner of the state for the benefit of its people.
