Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh, Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area and Enugu State Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), has been elected Chairman of ALGON South East.

With this development, Hon. Edeh, who also serves as the National Deputy Publicity Secretary of ALGON, is now saddled with the responsibility of coordinating and overseeing the affairs of local governments across the South East geopolitical zone.
His election is expected to strengthen inter-governmental collaboration and deepen grassroots governance within the region.
