ANINRI LG STAKEHOLDERS UNITE FOR PROGRESS: Chairman Nwanjoku Unveils Army Recruitment Drive, Development Strategies

The Executive Chairman of Aninri Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Nwanjoku Ugochukwu, convened a stakeholders’ meeting at the council headquarters, fulfilling his campaign promise of an open-door policy. The gathering aimed to strategize the future development of Aninri Local Government.

Hon. Prince Nwanjoku expressed gratitude to attendees, including his deputy, Commissioner for Youths and Sports, State House of Assembly members, former council chairmen, Igwes, President Generals, community heads, and party loyalists. He praised Enugu State’s Executive Governor, Gov. Peter Mbah, for the administration’s backing.

The chairman briefed stakeholders on the ongoing army recruitment drive, emphasizing the importance of recruiting Aninri residents. He proposed a committee comprising Igwes, President Generals, lawmakers, Commissioners, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless recruitment. This “business unusual” approach requires an all-hands-on-deck strategy.

Distinguished stakeholders, including Hon. Magnus Edeh, Hon. Lloyd Ekweremadu, and HRH Igwe Dan Okechukwu Njoku, expressed unanimous support for the initiative. They commended the Council Chairman’s exemplary performance and pledged to ensure the recruitment of Aninri indigenes. Other attendees included Hon. Tony Nwonye, Hon. Ben Alukwu, Hon. Prince Chidi Ekwe, Hon. Okwu Chinedu Otaka, and Hon. Uche Ogbonna.

Hon. Prince Nwanjoku reiterated his commitment to providing necessary support for success and thanked Gov. Peter Mbah for the opportunity to participate in the recruitment process. He described the Governor as a true champion of the people.

In a vote of thanks, stakeholders thanked the chairman and sought divine wisdom for his continued leadership. With collective effort and leadership, Aninri Local Government Area is poised for development and growth.
