Tragedy Strikes in Ibadan: Tinubu stabbed to death

A devastating incident occurred in Ibadan, Nigeria, where a 33-year-old housewife, Comfort Tinubu, allegedly stabbed her 39-year-old husband, Olusegun Tinubu, to death during a domestic dispute. The couple, married for three years, resided in the Gbeyi area of Adegbayi, Ibadan, and had two children together.

The Oyo State Police Command confirmed the incident, with SP Adewale Osifeso, the command’s spokesperson, stating that the case is under investigation at the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department. According to Osifeso, the alleged murder was initially reported at Gbagi Police Station.

SP Adewale Osifeso assured that the police are taking necessary steps to investigate the matter, saying, “The case is under investigation at the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department. Updates will be provided accordingly.”
