
Hon. Engr. Anayo B. Onwuegbu, FNSE, Chairman of the House Committee on Lake Chad and representative of Aninri/Awgu/Oji-River Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Onyima family of Mgbowo in Awgu Local Government Area, Enugu State, following the demise of their matriarch, Mrs. Grace Nwoma Onyima.

Onwuegbu described the late Mrs. Onyima, who passed away at the age of 73, as a woman of immense strength and character. He noted that her life was a testament to love, resilience, and dedication, exemplified through her service to her family, community, and God.
“Having lived a fulfilled and purposeful life, her enviable legacies shall continue through you and your siblings,” the letter read.
Drawing comfort from the Bible, Hon. Onwuegbu cited Revelation 21:4, which assures that “there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” He prayed for strength and courage for the family to bear the irreparable loss and for the eternal repose of Mrs. Onyima’s soul.
Hon. Onwuegbu conveyed the condolences of the people of Aninri/Awgu/Oji-River Federal Constituency and reaffirmed his thoughts and prayers for the family during this difficult time.

The funeral ceremony is scheduled for January 7, 2025, at Ndiulo Imama Mgbowo Community, Awgu LGA, Enugu State.
