Uche Okolo, has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering dedication to the socio-economic advancement of the community. In a heartfelt message to residents, Hon. Okolo emphasized the importance of collective effort and resilience in overcoming challenges and achieving progress.

Under Governor Mbah’s guidance, Awgu LGA has witnessed significant strides in various initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for its residents.
Notable among these achievements is the successful rollout of the Awgu Smart Farming and Farm Estate project, designed to empower local farmers and boost agricultural productivity. The “Water for All” initiative has also made considerable progress, with the installation of over 14 solar-powered boreholes, providing access to clean water for communities across the LGA.
Furthermore, the Chairman highlighted the administration’s efforts to improve security and infrastructure. Street lighting projects have been initiated in several neighborhoods, creating a safer environment for residents. In the education sector, significant investments have been made in infrastructure development, including improved access roads to the Awgu Smart Green Schools, which aim to provide a conducive learning environment for children.
Hon. Okolo also underscored his administration’s commitment to creating employment opportunities for the youth. Several initiatives are currently underway, with more planned for the future. He emphasized the collective responsibility of the community in building a prosperous future and urged residents to remain steadfast in their commitment to one another and to the development of their community.
