This approval confirms the Governor’s appreciation of the Education Secretaries’ commitment to the cause of transforming basic education in Enugu State, which must not be taken for granted by the beneficiaries but reciprocated in quality service, loyalty, and fidelity.
By this announcement, all the serving Education Secretaries in Enugu State are expected to continue to discharge their duties with passion, devotion, and commitment. The Executive Chairman of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), Assoc. Prof. Hyginus Banko Okibe, who conveyed this in a public service announcement, also solicited the support of local government leadership, stakeholders in the education sector, School-Based Management Committees, Basic Education School Leadership (Head Teachers), and the general public to ensure a seamless implementation of this approval.
