Gov Mbah’s Defection to APC: A Boost for Enugu

The entry of Enugu State Governor, Peter Ndubisi Mbah, into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will not only boost the state government’s development agenda but also strengthen the party in the Southeast.

This observation was made by Hon. Professor Paul Sunday Nnamchi, a member of the House of Representatives representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency.

In an interview with newsmen in Abuja, Professor Nnamchi described Governor Mbah’s defection as a new dawn in Enugu politics, stating, “With profound joy, I warmly welcome His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, into the All Progressives Congress (APC): the home of vision, unity, and renewed hope.”

He further characterized the governor’s move as a historic turning point and a bold step towards aligning Enugu State with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.

Professor Nnamchi expressed optimism about the development, saying, “As one who earlier joined this progressive family, I see in his move as the dawn of a greater partnership for development, inclusion, and transformation in our dear state.

Welcome to the winning side of history. Welcome home to the APC: where the future begins today.” He added that this development would enhance the efforts of federal legislators from Enugu State to attract more impactful social amenities.
