The ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Scheme is a key regional policy framework that supports the free movement of goods among member states. It provides a platform for locally produced goods and agricultural products to be traded duty-free across ECOWAS countries. The initiative strengthens economic cooperation, encourages investment growth, and creates new cross-border opportunities for businesses seeking to expand their commercial footprint beyond national boundaries.

The event, scheduled to take place at the International Conference Center, Enugu, by 9:00 AM, will operate under the theme: Increasing Intra-Regional Trade through ETLS.

A diverse audience of policymakers, business owners, entrepreneurs, and relevant industry stakeholders is expected to participate. The workshop will feature detailed insights into how enterprises, particularly in Enugu and surrounding regions, can benefit from expanded market access, reduced trade constraints, and region-wide value chain development.
