“The spilling of blood on our own soil is a tragedy that wounds the very soul of our beloved Nike Land. We cannot build our future on the ashes of hatred or the tears of our brothers,” he lamented.

Professor Nnamchi emphasized, “This is not who we are. Such senseless bloodshed has no place in Nike Clan. We must rise above anger and division, and work together to restore peace, justice, and mutual respect.”

He stressed, “Now is the time to embrace peace over vengeance, dialogue over division, and humanity over hostility. The unfortunate incident is not part of our culture and tradition.”

He commended the security agencies for their efforts to curtail the violence and urged them to act swiftly and decisively to compel the warring factions to embrace dialogue, ensuring enduring peace returns to Umuchigbo community.
