She stated that she has been trending since yesterday, and people have been calling her names. According to her, she doesn’t care about that, but the death threats she has been getting are what made her speak up to clear the air.
When asked if she would apologize for slapping her boyfriend, identified as Ben, Emmanuella was resolute in her response. She admitted that she is supposed to apologize but said she would not because, in her view, Ben deserved what he got.
According to her, Ben had persistently asked her out for months, but she had turned him down because she wasn’t interested in a long-distance relationship. She explained that Ben stays in Port Harcourt while she lives in Lagos, and she had told him clearly that she couldn’t be involved in a distant relationship. She wondered why he would come and propose to her publicly at someone else’s wedding, which she described as senseless.

She pleaded with Ben to caution his friends and stop fueling the attacks.
