Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, Engr. Ogbuekwe urged the youths to embrace diligence and remain steadfast in pursuing their dreams, highlighting that success is a journey that requires patience and consistent effort.
He emphasized that personal discipline and integrity are vital, advising the youth to shun drugs and negative influences that could derail their potential.
Engr. Ogbuekwe also encouraged the youths to actively participate in community development initiatives, including forming a disciplinary committee to guide youths.
He stressed the importance of protecting local institutions, particularly the Smart Green Schools, which are designed to provide quality education and foster a generation of environmentally conscious citizens.
The Special Adviser noted that ongoing government projects, particularly the construction of roads by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, are transforming Nkerefi into a hub of development. He highlighted the upcoming farm estate project as a major initiative that will generate employment opportunities for local youths, boost agriculture, and strengthen the economy of the area.
Speaking on the role of young people in shaping the future, Engr. Ogbuekwe concluded: “Your hard work, patience, and humility today will lay the foundation for a prosperous Nkerefi tomorrow. Protect our institutions, respect the process of growth, and always strive to be better.”
