In politics and public life, nobody discusses irrelevance. When your name, your idea, or your movement becomes the subject of debate, it means one thing: you are either making a meaningful impact or unsettling the opposition,” he said.
Dr. Ezediuto further highlighted the complementary roles of urban and rural political mobilization, noting that while personalities such as Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest drive the City Boys Movement, it is the Village Boys who wield tangible influence on the ground. “The foundation of every political structure is rooted in the villages, the streets, and the grassroots. The Village Boys are the backbone, they are the mobilizers, the defenders, the voters, and the pulse of the land,” he explained.
Concluding his statement, Dr. Ezediuto reiterated the enduring power of grassroots activism: “City Boys may set the trend, but Village Boys determine the outcome. In Enugu State, that strength is solid, organic, and untouchable.”
This declaration is expected to further intensify discussions around the evolving dynamics of political mobilization in Enugu, highlighting the growing recognition of rural engagement as a decisive factor in shaping electoral outcomes.
